Our home is a charming refurbished vintage home. (XIX century)

Open kitchen/dining room, livingroom, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 toilets.

Very large garden and terrasse with view on the volcanoes in the distance.

The surroundings

La Poumerole is a hamlet of 3 houses, situated in the Auvergne countryside, an hour from Clermont-Ferrand, in the centre of France.

As the two others houses are not occupied most of the time, it is the perfect place to enjoy quiet country life.

What to do ?

Sitting on the terrasse and enjoying the calm and the view.

Walking in the neighbourhood of the house ( trails guides at home)

Swimming in the (15 minutes drive) Lac des Fades-Besserves

Fishing in l’Etang de Chancelade (famous for its carps and pikes)

Canoeing on the Sioule river

Testing the famous Auvergne’s cheeses : Saint-Nectaire, Cantal, Fourme d’Ambert, Bleu d’Auvergne

• The Méandre de Queuille

• The Gorges de la Sioule
